Noctua Fixes Problem of NH-D15G2 Air-Cooled Radiator and Offers Solutions

TapTechNews September 14th news, the official Bilibili account of Noctua confirmed to TapTechNews that the company has fixed the problem of loose联锁 of the top fin of the new flagship air-cooled radiator NH-D15G2.

Some early users of NH-D15G2 reported encountering the problem of excessive fan noise. Noctua previously stated that it might be that the interlock of the radiator's top heat sink fin became loose during transportation, causing the fan airflow to cause the vibration of the heat sink fin, and then generating a rattling noise.

According to the German media ComputerBase report, Noctua currently offers three solutions to NH-D15G2 users who encounter rattling noise overseas:

Provide a free stainless steel plate, and fix it at the interlocked position on the side of the fin to eliminate the rattling noise;

Replace the radiator with a modified problem-free version for free, and it is expected to start this process by the end of October;

Full refund.

The Noctua NH-D15G2 air-cooled radiator is equipped with 8 6mm heat pipes and 2 new-generation NF-A14x25rG2PWM fans, and provides three versions: regular, HBC high bottom convexity and LBC low bottom convexity. The domestic price is 1199 yuan.
