Alibaba Launches 'The AI Chasing the Stars' for Autism Kids

TapTechNews July 5th news, Alibaba's official public account posted this afternoon to announce that the Tongyi App has now launched a special AI tool, 'The AI Chasing the Stars'.

Alibaba stated that this is the first AI picture book tool in China to take care of children with autism, providing free customized AI picture book services for families of children with autism. It is based on Alibaba's self-developed Modelscope-Agent framework and invokes multiple services of the Tongyi large model, which can realize the generation from a one-sentence story outline to a complete audio picture book.

According to the introduction, the generated picture books have the characteristics of a simple picture, prominent characters, and a plain and direct painting style, and can customize a picture book that belongs to each child. It can generate 4 types such as common sense recognition, social etiquette, mental interpretation, and interesting stories, and has set 3 different cognitive level tiers. Judging from the demo interface released by the official, users can customize the knowledge content that children should master through the story, and can also customize the words and contents to be avoided.

The Tongyi App has temporarily launched AI picture books featuring Sun Wukong and Big Ear Tutu as the main characters. The Shanghai Animation Film Studio has freely authorized its classic cartoon characters to Ali for use in public welfare picture books.
