Huawei Launches New Smart Glasses and Earphones at 2024 Summer Product Launch Event

On May 15, TapTechNews learned from today's new product launch that Huawei's Smart Glasses 2 introduced a square sunglasses version priced at 2299 yuan ($353).

Huawei Smart Glasses 2 was released in September last year, with five styles: frameless, aviator, square semi-frame, titanium space, and wire frame styles.

The square sunglasses feature a full-frame design with dark lenses for sun protection, 11-layer lens coating, and unchanged configuration on the temple part.

The speaker temples of Huawei Smart Glasses 2 are 20% narrower at the widest point, measuring only 9.7mm; and 28% narrower at the rear end, measuring only 8.3mm; it is the industry's first simultaneous dual-vibration diaphragm surging unit, with a 40% increase in speaker amplitude and a 30% increase in media playback volume.

Huawei Smart Glasses 2 offer 11 hours of listening time, 9 hours of talk time, 50 minutes to fully charge, 3 hours of listening time on a 10-minute charge, support IP54 dust and water resistance; support multi-device connection, seamless audio switching on HarmonyOS-equipped smartphones and tablets, compatible with devices running Android, iOS, Windows systems, and supporting Cervical Health 2.0.

According to the release event, Huawei's FreeClip ear clip headphones have added a new color option, Warm Star Cloud, priced at 1299 yuan ($200). The headphones now support floor-level offline searching, independent searching for single headphones and headphone cases, with a search battery life of up to 9 months.
