TapTechNews October 6th news, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman revealed in the latest episode of PowerOn that the AppleIntelligence feature will be launched along with iOS 18.1 on October 28th.

TapTechNews learned from the official Apple news that after the launch of AppleIntelligence, it will be freely available to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Pro users. Users of Mac or iPad with M1 or newer processors can also use the AppleIntelligence feature.

Initially, the function will support American English first. In December this year, English dialects in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK will be supported, while support for languages such as Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish will be gradually launched in 2025.

According to Gurman's previous revelations, the new Apple Siri enhanced by AppleIntelligence is expected to arrive in January next year. Gurman has provided details about the development timeline and release dates of other iOS 18-related versions:

iOS 18.2 is expected to be completed internally in early November and will be released in December.

iOS 18.3 is expected to be completed internally by the end of the year and will be released in January.

iOS 18.4 is expected to be completed internally in early February and will be released in March.

iOS 18.1 will bring the first wave of AppleIntelligence features, including a lightweight Siri update (new interface, faster response), writing tools, photo cleaning, and notification summaries. After that, iOS 18.2 is expected to bring ImagePlayground, Genmoji, and ChatGPT integration.
