The leaked Walmart product page shows that the price of the DJI Neo FlyMore Combo Kit is only 329 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 2385 RMB). Considering that the kit usually includes an extra battery, charger and shoulder bag, the starting price of a single drone may be even lower.

The retail packaging photo posted by the leaker Jasper Ellens on social media and the information in the FCC database further reveals the parameters of the drone, which will support 4K video shooting.

This drone weighs only 135 grams, which is expected to be the lightest consumer drone of DJI so far, lighter than the 249-gram DJI Mini SE. It is worth noting that the Neo is equipped with a propeller guard, enhancing the safety of indoor use. In addition, there is also a button on the fuselage to switch the flight mode with one click.

Although a remote controller is included in the FlyMore kit, the packaging box mentions multiple control methods and indicates that the drone can take off and land handheld. Combined with the mode switching button on the fuselage and the AI subject tracking function, users may be able to start the drone and take selfies without a remote controller. Currently, information about battery life and wireless transmission range has not been exposed.

Unlike the DJI Mini series, Neo seems unable to be folded into a smaller size, and its shape is closer to the DJI Avata FPV drone. This may mean that Neo can achieve first-person view flight by connecting to the Avata compatible head-mounted display.

As for the release date, Ellens speculates that if the product photos are true, DJI may release the Neo drone within a few weeks.
