Apple said that the new Rainbow Edition Braided Solo Loop band and the matching animated watch face have an interwoven multi-color neon pattern, aiming to pay tribute to specific groups and the bright future.

It is introduced that the Rainbow band is woven from polyester yarn and silicone filament, with a unique elastic design, which is not only comfortable to wear, but also easy to put on and take off, and has the performance of being resistant to sweat and water.

In addition, this band is woven from 16,000 colorful polyester filament long yarns and ultra-fine silicone filaments, and then laser-cut, with a series of sizes available for custom selection.

Band Compatibility

Most bands can be adapted to the watch cases of similar sizes of Apple Watch Series 3 or subsequent models. The 41 millimeter band can be used for 38 millimeter and 40 millimeter cases; the 45 millimeter band can be used for 42 millimeter, 44 millimeter and 49 millimeter cases.

The Solo Loop band and the Braided Solo Loop band are only compatible with Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 4 or newer models. The 40-millimeter and 41-millimeter cases can use bands 1-9; the 44-millimeter and 45-millimeter cases can use bands 1-12.

Apple also said that the new Pride Radiance watch face and iPhone and iPad wallpaper have been launched with watchOS 10.5, iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5.

It is introduced that the new Pride Radiance watch face and iOS and iPadOS wallpaper bring symbolic bright colors to Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad. The light on the dark background represents the hope, strength and unity of the LGBTQ+ community, and these lights overlap each other, representing the lasting impact of LGBTQ+ activism and its important role in illuminating the way to a more equal world for future generations. Users can choose a variety of colors to create a personalized watch face and wallpaper. On Apple Watch, these colors will outline each number on the watch face and change in real time following the user's wrist movement based on the input data of the gyroscope. On iPhone and iPad, when the user unlocks the device, the colorful rays will spell out the word Pride and show dynamic changes.

According to Apple, the new Rainbow Edition Braided Solo Loop band draws design inspiration from a variety of rainbow flags, symbolizing the power and beauty of LGBTQ+ through bright fluorescent color designs, and there is a laser-etched PRIDE 2024 at the buckle. Black and brown symbolize the African American, Hispanic and Latino communities, and those affected by HIV/AIDS; pink, light blue and white represent transgender and non-binary people.
