The 'Application Data Backup' feature can support full backup of WeChat chat records including text, photos, videos, and documents, and can easily and securely restore specific backup records. Huawei Home Storage was released in 2022 as Huawei's first HarmonyOS home data center, with prices of 2599 yuan for 4TB, 4599 yuan for 16TB, and 1899 yuan for the diskless version when converted to USD. Huawei Home Storage plays an important role in Huawei's 1+8+N strategy, enabling seamless connection with other devices, fast and convenient data access and transfer, and automatic synchronization to save photos and files from smartphones to NAS. The 'Application Data Backup' feature requires the use of HarmonyOS 4.2, where smartphones/tablets with HarmonyOS 4.2 and above can backup WeChat data to NAS and restore it anytime when needed. Huawei also reminds users to upgrade Huawei Home Storage synchronization service, and when upgrading, they need to disable the pure mode to enhance protection.
