AOC Launches Upgraded AGON Monitor AG276QZD2 with New Features

TapTechNews August 1st news, AOC launched an AGON esports monitor AG276QZD (AGON PRO 6th generation) last March, and now it has launched its upgraded version - AG276QZD2.

This monitor is priced at $599.99 on the overseas official website (TapTechNews note: currently about 4335 Chinese yuan), and there is only one third-party store selling it in China. It is the same 4299 Chinese yuan as AG276QZD, but it seems to just change AG276QZD to AG276QZD2 for placeholder.

The original AG276QZD uses LG Display WOLED panel, while this AG276QZD2 switches to Samsung Display's third-generation 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel, with a resolution of 2560x1,440 and a native 240Hz refresh rate.

This monitor can provide a gray-scale response time of 0.03ms, a static contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, native 10-bit color, 99.1% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, ΔE<2, and a brightness of 250 candelas per square meter. It has also passed the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification and supports VRR, PBP/PIP, and Adaptive-Sync synchronization technology (compatible with FreeSync).

This monitor adopts an ergonomic bracket, supporting rotation, tilt and height adjustment; the back shell is designed with a polygonal shape, and there is also a pentagonal LightFX music rhythm colorful ambient light, which can provide 14 kinds of light shows and more than 100,000 colors for free setting.

In addition, it also has built-in dual 5W speakers and is equipped with two HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB 3.2 Gen1-A interfaces and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
