Tesla's Supercharger Network Expansion Slows Down Amidst Challenges

TapTechNews September 23rd news, in recent months, the expansion rate of Tesla's supercharger network has slowed down. Referring to the TapTechNews report in April this year, the company's large-scale layoffs led to the team responsible for installing new electric vehicle charging piles and charging stations being emptied.

According to the Wall Street Journal, although Tesla has been trying to rebuild the team, including rehiring some previously laid-off employees, during the period from May to August, the number of newly opened supercharging connectors decreased by 28% compared to the same period last year, and currently the company is opening the charging network to other automakers and obtaining more public funds to build charging stations.
