Nissan's June 2024 Sales in China Decline and Promotional Offers

TapTechNews July 10th news, Nissan Motor announced on the 8th the performance situation in the Chinese region in June 2024. In terms of total volume, the sales volume in June including the two business segments of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles was 52,852 units (including imported Infiniti cars).

In that month, the sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan (including Nissan, Venucia and Infiniti brands) was 49,838 units, and the sales volume of the light commercial vehicle business segment (Zhengzhou Nissan) was 3,014 units.

From January to June 2024, the cumulative sales volume of Nissan Motor in the Chinese region including the two business segments of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles was 339,297 units.

TapTechNews found out that the sales volume of Nissan Motor in the Chinese region in June 2023 was 69,139 units, and the sales volume in the Chinese region in May 2024 was 64,233 units. From this, it can be calculated that the sales volume of Nissan Motor in China this June decreased by 23.56% year-on-year and 17.72% month-on-month.

In July, Dongfeng Nissan announced that some configurations of its two models, Sylphy and Qashqai, had a limited-time price reduction - the Dongfeng Nissan Qashqai Classic Comfort Edition SUV had a limited-time discount of $4,500 and was sold starting from $14,900, the Sylphy Enjoy Edition started from $15,400, and the Sylphy Classic Comfort Edition started from $10,800.
