TapTechNews Jun 3rd, A new model of Xiaomi charger, MDY-17-EE, has passed China's 3C certification, suggesting that the new product may be launched soon or used with a new device.
The certification information shows that this charger supports normal output of 5Vdc 3A and fast output of 5-11Vdc 4.1A, with a maximum output power of 45W. It is only suitable for safe use at altitudes of 5,000 meters (about 16,404 feet) and below and in tropical climate conditions. The first issue date of this product is May 30th, 2024.
As of TapTechNews' publication, the launch name and price of this product have not been announced.
For reference, Xiaomi just launched a 45W GaN small pudding charger set on May 20th, with an initial price of $8.65. This product supports PD3.0/QC3.0/PPS protocol and is compatible with mainstream smart phones in the market and supports fast charging for iPhone 15 series phones.
The charger housing is made of UL94-V0 material, which supports the characteristics of fire resistance and high temperature resistance, and also supports:
