AMD released the RX6500XT GPU based on the RDNA2 architecture in January 2022, and initially there was only a 4GB VRAM version. It wasn't until July 2022 that Sapphire launched the first RX6500XT graphics card with 8GB of VRAM.

Between Sapphire and ASRock's two products, the only RX6500XT 8GB graphics card that TapTechNews has reported is one from Pallead.

The ASRock RX6500XT Phantom Gaming 8GB OC graphics card is equipped with 1024 stream processors and comes with 64-bit 18 Gbps GDDR6 VRAM.

As its name suggests, this graphics card is overclocked, the boost frequency is slightly increased from the reference version's 2815 MHz to 2825 MHz, and the game frequency is also increased from 2650 MHz to 2685 MHz.

ASRock RX6500XT Phantom Gaming 8GB OC graphics card uses 50A Dr. MOS power supply, equipped with 90A inductors, equipped with a set of 8-pin PCIe auxiliary power connector, and a 400W power supply is recommended.

In addition, this graphics card has a metal backplate, and the fan blades have a stripe structure that enhances the heat dissipation effect and supports fan stop under low-load.

In terms of display interfaces, ASRock equips this graphics card with 1 HDMI 2.1 interface and 1 DP 1.4a interface that supports DSC.
