Chery Xingtu Shares Design of Xingjiyuan ES 'Convertible Version', Future Uncertain
TapTechNews August 1st news, Huang Zhaogen, the general manager of Chery Xingtu Marketing Center, shared a set of design drawings of the Xingjiyuan ES convertible version on the social platform today. This car follows the design style of the 2025 Xingjiyuan ES, and whether it will be mass-produced in the future has not been disclosed.
The design drawing shows that the Xingjiyuan ES convertible version is equipped with a through-type LED light strip on the front face, and the black air intakes on both sides integrate the light function. This car is equipped with hidden door handles, red brake calipers, etc. on the side, and the body layout is a 4-door 5-seat sports car.
TapTechNews noticed that the 2025 Xingjiyuan ES just started pre-sale last month, with a pre-sale price starting from 225,900 Chinese Yuan ($32,500). The car is 4945 millimeters long, 1978 millimeters wide, and 1467 millimeters high (with air suspension) / 1480 millimeters high (without air suspension), achieving a 3-meter long wheelbase with the support of the pure electric platform, with a drag coefficient of 0.205 Cd, and is equipped with a streamlined dome, ISD wind language interactive lights, and a wind-controlling electric rear wing.
In terms of power, both the 2025 Xingjiyuan ES Pro version and the Pro urban intelligent driving version use single-motor rear-wheel drive power, with a maximum power of 230 kilowatts and a peak torque of 425 Newton-meters. They are equipped with a 77 kilowatt-hour battery pack, and the cruising range under the CLTC working condition is 680 kilometers. In addition, both the Pro version and the Pro urban intelligent driving version provide a 100 kilowatt-hour battery pack, with a CLTC cruising range of 880 kilometers.
Both the 2025 Xingjiyuan ES Pro four-wheel drive version and the Ultra flagship version add a front axle induction asynchronous motor with a maximum power of 123 kilowatts and a peak torque of 238 Newton-meters on the basis of the rear-wheel drive version. The former is equipped with a 77 kilowatt-hour battery pack, and the cruising range under the CLTC working condition is 605 kilometers; the latter is equipped with a 100 kilowatt-hour battery pack, and the cruising range under the CLTC working condition is 710 kilometers.
