Robin Li said: "I think that open source is actually a kind of intelligence tax", "When you rationally think about what value a large model can bring and at what cost it brings value, you will find that you should always choose a closed source model. Today, whether it is ChatGPT or Wenxin Yiyan and other closed source models, they must be more powerful than open source models and have a lower inference cost."
When talking about "When will AI super applications appear", Robin Li said, "It's not that we must be waiting for the appearance of a super application". He believes that on top of the basic model, tens of thousands of various applications should be able to be born. "Almost all companies in all industries, after being enhanced by the large model, can benefit. This kind of influence is undoubtedly greater for the entire society and for humanity."
Robin Li said that the intelligent agent represents the future trend in the AI era. "The intelligent agent is exploding, but the base is still relatively small now, and everyone's perception is not that strong." The basic model needs to rely on applications to show its value, and the intelligent agent is an application based on a large model that is almost "applicable everywhere", and because its threshold is low enough, maybe you don't even need to program to make an intelligent agent with good results.
