TapTechNews June 8th news, MINISFORUM showcased its new product under the subsidiary brand Atom-Man -- X7Pt at Computex Taipei 2024. This is a compact water-cooled host computer, with dimensions of 6.9x5.2x6.1 inches (converted from 175x132x155 millimeters), claiming to be the smallest built-in water-cooled mini host computer in the world.
This water-cooled host computer is equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, and supports up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR5-5600 memory, two M.2 2280 slots for PCIe 4.0 solid-state drives, as well as including two 2.5 GbE LaN ports, one OCuLink port and two USB4 ports.
X7Pt debuted in April this year, and its name was Atom-Man UM890WE at that time. It might be renamed X7Pt to match the currently pre-sold X7Ti mini host computer.
X7Pt doesn't have an independent GPU, but the OCuLink port supports a data transfer speed of up to 63 Gbps. In addition, it is equipped with 2 USB4 ports (each port supports a speed of 40 Gbps), so users can connect an external graphics card to expand performance.
TapTechNews lists the port specifications as follows:
1 HDMI 2.1
1 DisplayPort 1.4
1 OCuLink (63 Gbps)
2 USB4 (40 Gbps, with DisplayPort Alt mode and USB Power Delivery)
4 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (10 Gbps)
2 2.5 GbE ethernets
1 3.5-mm audio
1 19V DC power input
X7Pt's cooling system includes a heatsink, a 120-mm fan and a water-cooling system, which is expected to keep the internal temperature below 75 degrees Celsius while controlling the noise below 40 decibels.
Other functions include an M.2 2230 wireless network card that supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, a built-in digital microphone, and an RGB light that can illuminate the front panel of the system.
MINISFORUM has not yet announced the price of this computer.
