Chery Launches New Tiggo 3x Premium Edition with Upgrades

TapTechNews August 1st news, Chery Automobile launched a brand-new Tiggo 3x Premium Edition model tonight. The official guided price is $8,400 (57,900 yuan). It provides upgrades in many aspects such as the whole vehicle space, safety performance, and intelligent configuration.

As a new addition model, the overall design of the Tiggo 3x Premium Edition continues the current model, adopting a 5-door 5-seat design. The body size is 165.4 * 69.3 * 61.8 inches (4200 * 1760 * 1570mm), and the wheelbase is 100.6 inches (2555mm), with a super-large trunk space of 14.8 cubic feet (420L).

In terms of interior, the new car adopts the classic three-spoke steering wheel and is matched with a 9-inch central control screen, and is equipped with configurations such as manual 4-way adjustment of the driver's seat, folding and放倒 of the rear seat, and dual speakers.

TapTechNews noticed that the new Tiggo 3x will be fully equipped with ABS anti-lock braking + EBD electronic brakeforce distribution system. In addition, there are also configurations such as ESP electronic stability system, EPB + AUTOHOLD, cruise control, reverse image, and automatic headlights.

In terms of power, the new car adopts front-wheel drive and is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 114 horsepower (85 kilowatts) and a peak torque of 106 pound-feet (143 N·m). It is matched with a simulated 9-speed CVT gearbox and adopts a front MacPherson independent/rear torsion beam suspension, which can provide a range of 404 miles (650 kilometers).
