TapTechNews July 11th news, on July 9th, Lantu Automobile and CAMS officially reached a charging network interconnection cooperation. The latter has more than 1500 charging stations and 12000 charging piles.

Since July 9th, the location, status, and price information of CAMS charging piles can be viewed in real-time through the Lantu Automobile App, and users can quickly complete operations such as scanning code for charging, order payment, and deduction of charging rights and interests.

TapTechNews noticed that while cooperating with third parties, Lantu Automobile is also accelerating the construction of its own stations.

In May this year, Lantu CEO Lu Fang disclosed that the company is launching the Thousand Stations and Ten Thousand Piles plan, and in the future, a 6-kilometer energy supplement network in the main urban areas of core cities will be built. The first batch will see 16 super-charging demonstration stations landed, and resources will cover 95% of cities across the country. In addition, Lantu will open all its self-built charging piles for use by all brands.

Lu Fang also mentioned some parameters of its charging piles: the maximum support is 8C, the peak power is up to 1000 kW, the peak current is up to 1000 A, and a single pile can be equipped with dual super-fast charging; it is equipped with a 2.8 cm diameter ultra-light liquid-cooled gun line, and users can pick up the super-charging gun as light as using a hair dryer. Lantu will also launch a charging robot, which will achieve a breakthrough and upgrade from car looking for piles to piles looking for cars.
