AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series Processors to Significantly Boost Integrated Graphics Performance

TapTechNews July 16th news, AMD confirmed in the 2024 Technology Day event that the Ryzen AI 300 series processors will significantly improve the performance of the integrated graphics, with a maximum increase of up to 32% compared to HawkPoint.

AMD stated in the press release that the StrixPoint APU adopts the brand-new RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics. Compared to the RDNA 3 of HawkPoint, it has increased by 32% in the 15W 3DMark TimeSpy benchmark score and the performance score has increased by 19% in the 3DMark NightRaid跑分. In terms of basic game testing, compared to the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, the game performance of AMD Ryzen AI 9HX 370 is 27%-65% higher than it.

AMD also compared the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-84-100 processor. Due to compatibility issues, in 7 tests, the Snapdragon chip was only tested in 3 tests.

AMD also emphasized some improvements brought by the RDNA 3.5 architecture. These include a 2-fold increase in texture sampling rate, improved memory management, and a 2-fold increase in interpolation rate.
