Ford Mustang Mach-E Breaks Guinness World Record with Stunning Single-Charge Mileage

This feat was verified by the vehicle tracking and fleet management company Webfleet and lasted for more than 24 hours.

Webfleet, as the sponsor of this challenge, said that the whole process was closely recorded by independently verified videos, odometer readings, GPS, and battery power data. The Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium Extended Range (rear-wheel drive, 18-inch wheels) model driven by drivers Kevin Booker and Sam Clarke, as well as navigator Richard Parker, equipped with a 91 kWh battery, and the official WLTP range is 373 miles (approximately 600.29 kilometers). The Mach-E with Bridgestone tires traveled an average of 6.25 miles (approximately 10.06 kilometers) per kilowatt-hour on public urban and rural roads in the UK, far exceeding expectations.

After the battery power was exhausted, Clarke and Booker could still travel an additional 21 miles. The entire journey lasted more than 24 hours, and the single-charge travel distance reached 569.64 miles (approximately 916.75 kilometers). Beverly Wise, the director of Webfleet in the UK and Ireland, said that this record represents an important milestone and shows the potential of electric vehicles.

Clarke and Booker have previously broken records in energy consumption and fuel economy. Booker said he hopes this achievement can inspire more people to consider choosing an electric vehicle as their daily travel option.

Previously, Zeekr 001 had broken this world record by creating a single-charge range record of 907.623 kilometers in Hangzhou last September. In addition, it is worth mentioning that NIO CEO Li Bin once live-streamed a 14-hour journey of 1044 kilometers using the new ET7 equipped with a 150 kWh semi-solid-state battery, but it has not been Guinness-certified.
