<i>Phasmophobia</i> to Land on Console Platforms in October with Halloween Event

TapTechNews July 13th news, KineticGames announced that the long-awaited multiplayer horror game Phasmophobia will land on console platforms during this year's Halloween in October, but there is currently no plan to join XGP yet.

This game will be launched in early access on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PSVR2 in October this year, and at the same time, the game will also launch a Halloween event - but the specific launch date is unknown.

The current US price of Phasmophobia is $13.99 (TapTechNews note: about 102 RMB currently), but KineticGames said the price will be reasonably increased to $19.99 (about 145 RMB currently) because since the start of early access, the content and duration of the game have increased.

Phasmophobia started early access on Steam in September 2020, with the lowest historical price in the Chinese region being 35.25 RMB and a 96% favorable rating.

It is worth noting that this game was originally scheduled to land on PS5/Xbox next-generation consoles and PlayStation VR2 platforms last August, but was postponed several times until the release time was finalized a year later today.

KineticGames also said that the console version can support synchronization with the PC version game, and all future updates and content will be launched simultaneously on all platforms; all platforms will support cross-platform play.
