Chery's 2025 Tiggo 8 PLUS SUV to Be Launched on September 10 with Updated Design

TapTechNews August 26th news, Chery Automobile announced today that its 2025 Tiggo 8 PLUS SUV model will be officially launched on September 10. This car mainly makes adjustments to the exterior design and can choose between 1.6/2.0T two engines.

According to TapTechNews' understanding, the Tiggo 8 PLUS model first debuted in October 2020, and the current model (2024 model) was launched last November, and the 2025 model is expected to be introduced as a mid-term facelift. In terms of price, the current guidance price range of the entire series of models is from 126,900 to 148,900 yuan, and it is expected that the pricing of the 2025 model will be similar.

Judging from the official pictures, the new Tiggo 8 PLUS adopts a brand-new front face design, with the front grille having an arc-shaped corner and the interior being dot-matrix elements. The new car also adopts a split headlight group, and the internal structure of the upper headlight group is different from that of the current model, looking more sharp, and the lower headlight group is connected to the front grille through a black decorative plate. Compared with the real car picture of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before, the lower headlight group and the internal structure of the grille of the new car are also different.

In terms of specifications, TapTechNews learned that the length, width and height of the 2025 Tiggo 8 PLUS are 4730 (4715) x 1860 x 1740 mm (about 154.7 x 73.2 x 68.5 inches) respectively, and the wheelbase is 2710 mm (about 106.7 inches). Compared with the current model (4722 x 1860 x 1745 mm, wheelbase 2710 mm), it is longer and lower; the car will continue to be equipped with 1.6T and 2.0T engines, among which the maximum power of the 1.6T engine is 145 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the 2.0T engine is 187 kilowatts, which is the same as that of the current models.
