Baidu Maps V20 (HIMA) Now Available on Hongmeng Zhixing Vehicles with Multiple Functions

TapTechNews October 10th news, Baidu officials announced today that Baidu Maps V20 (HIMA) has now been launched on Hongmeng Zhixing vehicles. The first batch of models includes: AITO M5 Extended Range (2022 model), AITO M7 Extended Range (2022 model), supporting lane-level guidance, traffic light countdown and other functions.

Lane-level Navigation

Lane-level guidance, covering more than 41,000 towns and villages across the country.

Violation alerts, including accident-prone, intersections, residential area entrances and exits, pedestrian crossings and other warnings.

Traffic light countdown, covering more than 3,000 districts and counties with over one million lights, supporting the display of consecutive traffic light countdowns and green wave speeds, and can be used while cruising.

Real-time display of the real road situation, including construction section prompts, congested section prompts.

Hands-free Connectivity

WeChat one-step navigation initiation.

Real-time navigation transfer, initiating car navigation from the phone.

Voice Interaction

The new Xiaodu voice assistant.

Same personalized voice packs as on the phone.

According to previous reports, at the Baidu Apollo automotive intelligent product launch conference in April this year, the V20 version of Baidu Maps was unveiled publicly, with a total of four versions:

Basic version: no customization, free upgrade;

3D leading version: standard for all intelligent cars, one-step car navigation beyond new forces;

3D flagship version: top configuration for 8295 chip models;

SR intelligent driving version: top configuration for urban high-level intelligent driving models.
