FAW Audi's Cumulative Sales Exceed 9 Million Units in China

TapTechNews July 16th news, the FAW Audi official website announced today that the cumulative sales of FAW Audi has officially exceeded 9 million units.

FAW Audi said that it took 22 years for the first 1 million units to be achieved, and 3 years for the second 1 million units to be achieved, and it only took a little more than 1 year for the ninth 1 million units to be achieved.

The official also disclosed that in the first six months of this year, the monthly average sales of Audi A6L exceeded 14,000 units, and the monthly average sales of Audi Q5L family exceeded 11,000 units. In addition, the June sales of Audi A4L returned to more than 10,000 units, reaching 10,744 units.

TapTechNews noticed that in the face of the electrification consumption trend in the Chinese automotive market, FAW Audi has launched electrified products that adapt to local consumption needs, from the luxury pure electric SUV e-tron and Q4 e-tron, to the luxury pure electric GT sports car e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT.

At present, the first domestic PPE platform product, the new Audi Q6 e-tron, has completed pre-production in Changchun FAW Audi New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd.. In 2025, FAW Audi will also launch more new products such as Audi A6 e-tron based on the PPE platform.
