Google CEO Sundar Pichai on the Transformative Power of AI and Google's Initiatives

Google makes AlphaFold freely available to the scientific community, and more than 2 million researchers from over 190 countries and regions can use it.

Third, helping people deal with climate-related disasters based on the United Nations' initiative of providing early warning for all. Google's flood center system can provide early warnings up to 7 days in advance, helping to protect more than 460 million people in over 80 countries and regions.

Fourth, the opportunity for artificial intelligence to make a meaningful contribution to economic progress. Some research shows that artificial intelligence can increase global labor productivity by 1.4 percentage points and increase global GDP by 7% in the next decade.

Pichai announced at the summit that Google will set up a Global AI Opportunity Fund and invest 120 million US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 846 million yuan) to provide AI education and training in communities around the world.
