TapTechNews August 2nd news, Microsoft's code hosting platform GitHub has newly launched the GitHubModels service, positioned as a new generation of AI engineers to help developers choose the AI model suitable for their applications.
GitHub stated in the official press release that GitHubModels will serve the platform's more than 100 million users and provide them with industry-leading large language models (LLM) or small language models (SLM).
TapTechNews note: The GitHubModels service is currently in the limited public beta stage and can be connected to AI models such as OpenAI's GPT-4o and GPT-4omini, Microsoft's Phi3, Meta's Llama3.1, and Mistral's Large2, and promises to continue to expand more language and vision models in the future.
Developers can access these models through the built-in ModelPlayground and test different prompts and model parameters here.
