TapTechNews July 12th news, the group stage schedule of the 2024 Esports World Cup DOTA2 ended in the early hours of today. LGD tied its opponent again, and XG had one win and one draw. The Chinese teams remained unbeaten.

The group stage of this tournament has a total of 16 teams participating, including 8 directly invited teams and 8 teams advancing from the qualifying rounds. The 16 teams are divided into two groups for a Bo2 points round-robin tournament. The top four in each group advance to the winner's bracket of the knockout stage, the fifth and sixth place advance to the loser's bracket, and the last two are directly eliminated. Currently, LGD and XG teams are in a relatively good situation.

LGD will play against Falcons at 8:30 PM today and against Spirit at 2:30 AM tomorrow; XG will play against Tundra at 11:15 PM today.

The knockout stage will be held from July 16th to July 21st. The knockout stage is a double-elimination format, and the finals is Bo5, while the rest of the games are Bo3. The finals will be held at 11:00 PM Beijing time on July 21st.
