OnePlus Releases New Smartwatch and True Wireless Headphones Overseas
TapTechNews July 16th news, in addition to the Nord4 phone and the brand-new tablet OnePlusPad2, OnePlus also released two new products overseas today: the Watch2R smartwatch and the NordBuds3Pro true wireless noise-canceling headphones.
The Watch2R can be said to be an upgraded version of the Watch2 released in March this year. Essentially, it is also the Chinese version of the Watch2 (eSIM), but the eSIM function is cancelled.
In terms of appearance, the Watch2R adopts a new bezel design, adds a tachymeter scale, has two circular physical buttons, and also upgrades the strap. Importantly, the weight of the Watch2R is reduced by 25% compared to the Watch2, only 37 grams.
In terms of core configuration, the Watch2R continues the 1.43-inch AMOLED display, is equipped with the Snapdragon Wear OS4 wearable chipset (paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage), and a dual-system design (Wear OS for daily use, and the lightweight RTOS brings more durable battery life). The battery capacity is 500 mAh, and the official claim is that it can provide up to 100 hours of battery life.
In terms of functions, the Watch2R supports dual-frequency GPS positioning, can track 100 sports modes, and provides health functions such as heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and stress monitoring. The Watch2R is available in forest green and gun gray colors, and the price is $230 (TapTechNews note: currently about 1,672 yuan) / €280 (currently about 2,219 yuan) / £250 (currently about 2,358 yuan) / 17,999 Indian rupees (currently about 1,564 yuan). It goes on sale today in the US, Europe, and the UK, and in the Indian region, it needs to wait until July 20.
Another new product, the NordBuds3Pro, is a true wireless noise-canceling headphone, equipped with a 12.4mm titanium-coated diaphragm dynamic driver unit, supports Bluetooth 5.4 connection, SBC and AAC audio decoding, and has a manual equalizer. In terms of noise cancellation, the active noise-canceling function of the NordBuds3Pro supports a noise-canceling depth of 49 dB.
In the charging case part, the charging case of the NordBuds3Pro has an IP55 dustproof and waterproof rating, and the built-in 440 mAh battery, combined with the headset itself, the total battery life can reach 44 hours. The NordBuds3Pro is available in starry night black and soft jade green colors, and the price is $80 (currently about 582 yuan) / €80 (currently about 634 yuan) / £80 (currently about 755 yuan) / 3,299 Indian rupees (currently about 287 yuan). Just like the Watch2R, it goes on sale today in the US, Europe, and the UK, and in the Indian region, it needs to wait until July 20.
