Serious Electric Vehicle Fire in Incheon, South Korea; Govt to Take Action

According to TheJapanTimes, the South Korean Ministry of Environment will hold an emergency meeting next week to discuss the problem of electric vehicle fires and formulate relevant response measures. The Ministry of Land, the Ministry of Industry and other departments as well as the National Fire Agency will also participate in this meeting. The South Korean government plans to announce a series of comprehensive measures for electric vehicle fires as soon as possible. There are news that the South Korean government may require electric vehicle manufacturers to disclose the information of battery suppliers.
