TapTechNews October 5th news, the Google Gboard team announced on October 1st that they have launched a physical keyboard named Gboard Double Sided Version, which adopts the same-sided structure of the Mobius strip. There are no head and tail keys, and users can use it from any angle and it also supports simultaneous use by multiple people.
The keys of this keyboard use MX mechanical shafts that support hot-swapping and are composed of 26 connection modules, each module has 8 keys, and it has 208 sets of key configurations. The keyboard body is equipped with a 3D printed frame and a flexible circuit board.
TapTechNews learned from the official that the design idea of this keyboard is how to make the keyboard usable in the flipped state. We noticed that there are only keys on one side of the keyboard. If you flip the keyboard over, you simply can't type at all. To solve this big problem, we racked our brains and finally developed this keyboard. The Gboard Double Sided Version keyboard goes beyond the concept of two sides.
The keyboard has not yet had a sales plan, but the Google official has opened the firmware and 3D printing instructions to the source, and users can obtain them on GitHub.
