TapTechNews August 15th news, the official public account of Xiamen Industry and Information Technology announced on the 13th that the Support and Subsidy Measures for Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in Xiamen (TapTechNews note: hereinafter referred to as the Subsidy Measures) was recently triggered by the Xiamen Development and Reform Commission.
The Subsidy Measures is applicable to the newly built and put into operation electric vehicle commercial charging facilities within the administrative region of Xiamen from 2024 to 2026, including public charging facilities that are open to social vehicles for operation, as well as dedicated charging facilities that provide commercial charging services for vehicles.
If qualified, the subsidy standards are as follows:
Give operating subsidies according to commercial charging electricity. For charging facilities newly built and put into operation on the island, the subsidy standard is $0.15 per kilowatt-hour; for charging facilities newly built and put into operation outside the island, the subsidy standard is $0.22 per kilowatt-hour.
In principle, the subsidy ceiling is that the charging facilities do not exceed $50 per kilowatt per year (calculated according to 12 months) on the island and $87.5 per kilowatt per year outside the island.
The total subsidy amount does not exceed the charging service fee collected by the charging facilities and is allocated according to the annual budget.
When the application unit applies for the subsidy, it shall build at least 40 DC standard piles in the whole city in the current year.
For those newly built and put into operation in 2024, the subsidy time does not exceed 36 months.
For those newly built and put into operation in 2025, the subsidy time does not exceed 24 months.
For those newly built and put into operation in 2026, the subsidy time does not exceed 12 months.
Count continuously from the first day of the first subsidy month, and the subsidy deadline does not exceed December 31, 2027.
The subsidy will come into effect as of the date of issuance and will be valid until December 31, 2026, and can be revised in a timely manner according to the implementation situation.
