ZOTAC Unveils Its First Gaming Handheld - ZOTAC ZONE at 2024 Cologne Game Show

TapTechNews August 21st news, TapTechNews learned from ZOTAC official that during the 2024 Cologne Game Show which opened today, ZOTAC's first gaming handheld - ZOTAC ZONE was officially released.

This handheld is equipped with an AMD R7 8840U processor, carrying 16GB LPDDR5X-7500 memory and 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0x4 SSD (2280), and has a built-in UHS-II microSD card reader.

It adopts a 1080p 120Hz 7-inch AMOLED ten-point touch screen, with a brightness up to 800 nits and supports HDR. This handheld also has a two-stage adjustable Hall trigger and is equipped with a 48.5Wh three-cell lithium-ion battery.

The body is gun-gray, and both the joystick and the trigger use Hall effect sensors, replacing the traditional contact joystick with electromagnetic induction technology, claiming that there is no need to worry about joystick drift. This handheld is also equipped with a two-stage adjustable trigger that supports one-click switching between long/short trigger strokes, and players can set different trigger strokes according to different games.

There is a toggle wheel at the bottom of the joystick, which can be used to adjust system settings; touchpads are configured on both sides, which can further improve the convenience and accuracy of operation. This handheld is equipped with full-speed USB4 interfaces on both the top and bottom, and is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, which can be compatible with more types of Bluetooth accessories and external devices. In addition, its power button integrates a fingerprint recognition function.

ZOTAC also released two accessories: a multi-port expansion dock with an NVMe SSD interface and a portable bag with built-in additional storage space.
