According to the report of New York consulting firm Interbrand, the 100 most valuable brands in the world in 2023 include well-known companies such as Apple, Google, Coca-Cola, Nike, and McDonald's. The logos and products of these brands can instantly evoke people's familiar memories. However, NVIDIA is not on the list.

Greg Silverman, director of global brand economics at Interbrand, said in an interview with CNBC: NVIDIA is a product-driven company and has only recently come onto the global stage. The company has neither the time nor the resources to change its brand positioning and strengthen brand building to protect future revenues.

Part of the reason for NVIDIA's lack of brand awareness may be that since its founding in 1993, the company has not focused on consumer-facing products. NVIDIA's chips were originally designed specifically for video games and were deeply loved by computer enthusiasts. Currently, NVIDIA's brand is not a household name either, only relatively well-known among gamers.

TapTechNews noticed that Intel, which once dominated the chip market, has also faced similar brand issues in recent years. It was not until the launch of the IntelInside campaign in the 1990s that Intel's brand awareness was enhanced. Intel claims on its official website: Before the launch of the 'IntelInside' campaign, Intel was relatively unknown to consumers. Although Intel's market capitalization is about $132 billion, far lower than NVIDIA's $3.1 trillion as of June 23rd, Intel still ranks 24th on Interbrand's list of the most valuable brands.
