Jietu Automobile's All-New Generation X70PLUS New Design and Expected Release

TapTechNews July 12th news, Jietu Automobile has now released the official pictures of the all-new generation X70PLUS, adopting the latest family design style, and is expected to go on the market on July 29th, with the current model starting from 89,900 yuan.

From the pictures, this new car is equipped with a split-type front light group and a through-type daytime running light, the front grille adopts a horizontal stripe design, which is significantly different from the vertical grille design of the current models on sale.

In addition, the all-new Jietu X70PLUS is equipped with a traditional exterior door handle and chrome window trim strips, and the rear of the car has been adjusted in details and replaced with a new style of dual-sided two-outlet exhaust. The new car has a length, width and height of 4749/1900/1720 millimeters respectively, with a wheelbase of 2745 millimeters, which remains the same as the current model.

For reference, the currently sold Jietu X70PLUS Champion Edition is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD intelligent dual-screen (TapTechNews note: with Tencent ecosystem built-in, supporting functions such as in-car WeChat, Jietu Travel Guide, Mango TV, etc.), and has a 62-inch super wide-angle interstellar viewing skylight, providing voice technology recognition and control.

In terms of power, the Jietu X70PLUS Champion Edition adopts a 1.6TGDI+7DCT powertrain, among which the 1.6TGDI engine has a maximum power of 145 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 290 Newton-meters, matching a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
