OnePlus to Launch Smartwatch 2 in US

TapTechNews June 21st news, OnePlus' official Weibo announced this morning that the first OnePlus fully smartwatch - OnePlus Watch 2 will debut at the OnePlus Summer Performance Ecosystem New Product Launch on June 27th.

This watch has already been released overseas in February this year under the name OnePlus Watch2, with a price of 299.99 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 2183 yuan). The appearance design of this product is more tough compared to the previous generation. Although it adopts a round dial design, the side buttons protrude beyond the casing. The case is made of stainless steel and has a brushed metal finish and a polished surface. For reference, the Watch2 released overseas uses a fluoro-rubber strap with a striped pattern and a stainless steel buckle, and comes in black and green versions.

Watch2 is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466x466 and supports 60Hz refresh, and claims to have a high-brightness mode of 1000 nits.

Watch2 is equipped with heart rate and blood oxygen sensors and supports sleep and stress level detection. The product also tracks some sports activities including walking, running, cycling, swimming, jumping, hiking, skiing, as well as popular sports such as tennis and badminton.

In this month, OnePlus' new smartwatch has already appeared in the domestic Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with the model OPWW234. Judging from the exposed license photo, it still has a round dial, and there are 2 buttons on the right side for controlling the smartwatch.
