PlayStation's 2024 Mid-Year Promotion 'Days of Play' to Start on May 29th

TapTechNews May 23rd news, @billbil-kun revealed that PlayStation's mid-year big promotion Days of Play in 2024 will kick off on May 29th and last until June 12th, and the promotion forms include games (physical version), consoles (hardware) and PS+ subscription and other services.

For reference, in last year's Days of Play, Sony offered a 25% discount on the annual subscription of PlayStation Plus, covering members of tiers one, two and three.

In terms of hardware, @billbil-kun believes that this big promotion will offer PS5, PSVR2 and DualSense controllers, and the possible discounts in Europe are as follows:

The PS5 Slim optical drive version has a 50 euro reduction, and the final price is 499 euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 4917 Chinese yuan).

The PSVR2 has a 100 euro reduction, and the final price is 499 euros (currently about 4917 Chinese yuan).

All DualSense controller prices are 49.99 euros (currently about 392 Chinese yuan).

Some popular games, such as God of War (2018) or Horizon: Zero Dawn, will offer a discounted price of 9.99 euros (currently about 78 Chinese yuan).

It is worth mentioning that in the past few years, Days of Play usually runs simultaneously with the PlayStation Showcase game conference, and there have also been rumors before that Sony will hold a new PlayStation Showcase in May.
