Illustrator Launches Native Version for Windows on ARM

TapTechNews July 31, the graphic design software Illustrator has officially launched the native version for Windows on ARM, which means that Windows devices equipped with ARM processors, such as the Copilot+ computer Surface Pro 11 and Laptop 7, etc., will be able to run this industry-standard vector graphic editing software more smoothly and efficiently.

However, it should be noted that currently Illustrator for ARM is still in the testing stage, and users may encounter some minor problems. But for creative workers who rely on vector graphic editing, this is undoubtedly good news.

TapTechNews noticed that previously Adobe has successfully ported two main software, Photoshop and Lightroom, to the ARM platform, and the addition of Illustrator this time further improves the layout of its creative software on ARM devices. Next, the ARM version of the video editing software Premiere Pro, which the industry and users are most concerned about, is also about to be launched.

Although the computers equipped with the latest Snapdragon XElite and Plus processors have attracted much attention, older ARM devices, such as Surface Pro 9 5G, can also benefit from this update of Illustrator.

If you have already purchased an ARM version of Windows computer, you can open the Task Manager, switch to the Details tab, and check the Architecture column to determine whether an application is running natively.
