ASUS Launches Three VU-Series Monitors at Computex 2024

According to TapTechNews on June 9, ASUS launched three VU-series monitors at Computex 2024 Taipei International Computer Show, integrating nano-ion technology and claiming to achieve a certain degree of air purification function.

The 23.8-inch VU249HFI-W and the 27-inch VU279HFI-W monitors both adopt FullHD (1080p) IPS panels and support a 100 Hz refresh rate.

The 34-inch VU34WCIP-W selects a UWQHD (3440×1440) curved panel with a 1500R curvature and a 100 Hz refresh rate.

TapTechNews noticed that in addition to the regular HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces, this monitor also supports 65W USB Type-C reverse power supply and USB Hub function, providing a total of four downstream USB Type-A interfaces.

ASUS claims that the three monitors VU249HFI-W, VU279HFI-W and VU34WCIP-W all integrate nano-ion technology, can remove certain particles in the air, improve air quality and inhibit viruses, molds and bacteria, use halogen-free PCB boards, and the casing is targeted to be made of 85% recycled plastic, support automatic brightness adjustment and meet the requirements of Energy Star 8.0 standard.
