In this recall, due to a manufacturing problem of the fuel pump impeller in some vehicles within the scope, the impeller deforms and rubs against the fuel pump housing under high temperature environment, and the resistance increases. In extreme cases, it may cause the fuel pump to stop working, resulting in the vehicle stalling while driving, presenting a safety hazard.

Genesis Motor Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will replace the fuel pump free of charge for the vehicles within the recall range to eliminate the safety hazard.
