Buick E5 Launches Limited-Time Fixed Price in the US, with Some Models Offering Big Discounts

TapTechNews September 30th news, today SAIC-GM announced that some models of Buick E5 have launched a limited-time fixed price, with the starting price of $24,900.

TapTechNews noticed that this limited-time fixed price activity is mainly for the Zhenxiang standard range version (second-lowest configuration) and Zhenxiang standard range audio-video version (second-highest configuration) of the Buick E5 series, and simultaneously launched the upgraded version based on these two models. According to the information released by Buick, the upgraded version models are mainly the model versions with upgraded limited car colors. Comparing the guided price and the limited-time fixed price, the reduction of these four models is all $5,200.

Buick E5 is the first model launched by the Buick brand based on the GM Ultium platform, positioned as an electric midsize-large SUV. It premiered at the end of 2022 and was officially launched in April 2023.

In terms of power, all the currently available Buick E5 series are equipped with a front-mounted single electric motor. Except for the Zhenxiang long range version with the maximum power of the motor at 150 kilowatts, the maximum power of the motors of other models is 180 kilowatts, and the maximum torque of the motors of all models is 330 Newton-meters. In terms of batteries, currently only the Pioneer Pro version is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 65 kilowatt-hours, and the CLTC range is 515 miles; the battery capacities of the Zhenxiang standard range audio-video version, Pioneer version, and Zhenxiang standard range version are all 68.4 kilowatt-hours, and the CLTC range is 545 miles; the ternary lithium battery equipped with the Zhenxiang long range version has a capacity of 79.7 kilowatt-hours, and the CLTC range is 620 miles.
