TapTechNews June 14th - Two companies in Tokyo, Japan, have announced a collaboration to offer computer assembly tutorials for children starting July 26th and teach them about CPUs, GPUs, and how to assemble.
This event is jointly organized by the amusement park company KidZania and the Japanese personal computer supplier MouseComputer, aimed at children aged 3 to 15. Each lesson lasts approximately 30 minutes and one teacher guides 8 participants to learn how to assemble a desktop computer using real components such as CPUs, memory, and graphics cards.
It is currently unclear whether ready-made heat sinks will be used or if they will learn complex techniques such as how to evenly apply thermal grease. After completing the above assembly, the assembly result will be verified by whether the computer can be powered on or not.
TapTechNews looked up public information and found that KidZania has landed in 22 countries, and the total number of parks in operation and under construction has reached 29, becoming one of the fastest-growing indoor children's amusement parks in recent years.
KidZania Tokyo children's theme park is a town reduced to two-thirds the size of the real world. There are 60 different places and about 100 different roles for children to explore.
