Gaode Map's Ride-Hailing Service Launched in 65 Cities with Future Expansion

Hubei Province: Including Wuhan City, Ezhou City, Xiaogan City, Huanggang City, Jingzhou City, Xianning City, Huangshi City, etc., 17 cities in total;

Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration: Including Guangzhou City, Shenzhen City, Zhuhai City, Dongguan City, Foshan City, Zhongshan City, etc., 21 cities in total;

Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration: Including Shanghai City, Nanjing City, Suzhou City, Hangzhou City, Ningbo City, Hefei City, etc., 27 cities in total.

TapTechNews previously reported that Gaode Map launched a public welfare ride-hailing service in March 2018, which was first launched in Chengdu, Wuhan and other places, and was offline in August of the same year. At that time, Gaode officials said that the platform had no commercial purpose, did not charge commissions to users, and did not fight subsidy wars in the industry. This business also carried out small-scale tests in 2019, but has not been officially launched yet.
