Google Announces Over 100,000 Mixed Emojis in Emoji Kitchen for World Emoji Day

TapTechNews July 18th news, Google, in celebration of World Emoji Day (July 17th), announced that its Emoji Kitchen currently has more than 100,000 mixed emojis.

Google has not yet announced the design plan applicable to Unicode 16.0, but stated that it will launch a brand-new web font in the form of color and monochrome in September this year.

Users can see new emojis such as fingerprints, leafless trees, harps, splashes, puffy-eyed faces, shovels, and vegetable roots.

TapTechNews note: Google launched EmojiKitchen in the Gboard input method in 2020 and launched the web version in September 2023. Users can combine two different emoji expressions into a new expression to achieve creative combinations, such as an angry strawberry or a laughing chick.
