Calibre 7.15 Released with New Features and Bug Fixes

The Calibre open source project is an e-book management tool released by the official Calibre. It can view, convert, edit and classify e-books in all mainstream formats. Calibre is a cross-platform software that can run on Linux, Windows and macOS.

Calibre 7.15 has been officially released now, and the update contents are as follows:

New features

  • Fetching news: Allows each news source to specify source-specific options, such as downloading past versions (about 128 KB).

Bug fixes

  • Windows: MTP driver: Fixes the regression problem in the previous version that caused errors on some devices.
  • Icon theme creation dialog: Fixes various problems that occurred when creating icon themes with many icons with light and dark variations.
