<Silent Hill 2 Remake> Officially Launched but Hacked Before Release

TapTechNews October 8th news, is a psychological horror survival game developed by Bloober Team SA and published by Konami. It officially landed on PC and PS5 platforms today. Steam is locked in the Chinese mainland region, and it costs 466 Hong Kong dollars in the PSN Hong Kong region (TapTechNews note: currently about 422 RMB), and 531 Hong Kong dollars for the deluxe version (currently about 481 RMB).

But the problem is that this game was cracked by hackers before its official release, and those pre-order players, especially those who pre-ordered the deluxe version, may feel very unhappy.

The game blogger Pirat_Nation tweeted that the deluxe version of was unlocked on October 6th, and the hacker group RUNE announced that it had broken the game on the same day.

Someone in the comment section said, Sony doesn't care about Denuvo, so it's only a matter of time before it gets cracked. Others said, Interestingly, piracy actually helps sales. Even if it's free, I won't play this crappy game.

Some also think that buying the deluxe version to play early is the reason why the game was broken. They spent an extra 20 pounds to buy the digital deluxe version so they could play the game 2 days earlier. And the pirates also got to play the game 2 days earlier.
