Audi Releases New Q8 e-tron S Line Competition Package with Enhanced Features
TapTechNews August 5th news, Audi has released the new Q8 e-tron S line competition package. The price of this package is 7190 euros (TapTechNews note: currently about $8320), while the carbon fiber style package of the SQ8 e-tron costs 2990 euros (currently about $3450). The mid-term facelifted Audi Q8 e-tron is renamed from Audi e-tron, and currently the official guide price of Audi e-tron in China is from 546,800 to 648,800 yuan.
Judging from the official pictures, the new Q8 e-tron S line competition package includes carbon fiber air动力学 components on both sides of the front grille, mirror housings and lower door trim, paired with 21-inch five-spoke smoked black aluminum alloy wheels and black brake calipers with red S logo. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with an adaptive air suspension sport version, which supports manual adjustment of the suspension height and automatically adjusts the height and damping control according to the driving state.
The new Q8 e-tron S line competition package version also provides door LED floor lights, showing the words e-tron edition, and the rear is equipped with privacy glass.
For the new SUV version and coupe version of the SQ8 e-tron, both models are equipped with the carbon fiber components of the above S line competition package and adopt different five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.
The new Q8 e-tron and Sportback versions are equipped with a full LCD instrument panel, combined with a 10.1-inch central touch screen and an 8.6-inch air conditioning control panel, basically continuing the design layout of the currently sold Audi e-tron. The vehicle provides panoramic sunroof, four-zone air conditioning, front seat massage and head-up display and other equipment.
In terms of power, the new Q8 e-tron family all adopts dual-motor drive. The dual-motor of the 50 quattro model has a combined maximum power of 250 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 664 Newton-meters, which has increased by 20 kilowatts and 124 Newton-meters respectively compared to the currently sold domestic Audi e-tron 50 quattro. The cruising range is 491 to 505 kilometers (WLTP), and the 0-100 kilometers/hour acceleration time is 6.0 seconds.
The dual-motor of the 55 quattro model has a combined maximum power of 300 kilowatts in Boost mode and a maximum torque of 664 Newton-meters, which is the same as the parameters of the currently sold imported Audi e-tron Sportback 55 quattro. The cruising range is 582 to 600 kilometers (WLTP), and the 0-100 kilometers/hour acceleration time is 5.6 seconds.
The more powerful SQ8 e-tron and Sportback versions adopt three-motor drive, and the combined maximum power can reach 370 kilowatts and the peak torque is 973 Newton-meters. The cruising range is 494 to 513 kilometers (WLTP), and the 0-100 kilometers/hour acceleration time is shortened to 4.5 seconds.
