Apple Set to Release New BeatsPill Speaker on June 25th

The official Beats by Dre account posted a short video, in which not only the basketball star LeBron James appeared, but also the BeatsPill speaker was shown with the text 6/25, seemingly suggesting the release date of this device.

TapTechNews noticed that the earliest sign of the new BeatsPill speaker appeared in April this year, when NBA star LeBron James was photographed holding the speaker. After that, F1 racer Daniel Ricciardo, football star Lionel Messi, and Kim Kardashian were also successively found to be holding the same model speaker.

In May this year, the hidden images in the iOS 17.5 beta version first revealed part of the true appearance of this speaker, and then it appeared in several regulatory databases.

Although the official has not yet announced the specific function details of the BeatsPill, judging from the leaked information, this speaker has a pill-shaped design similar to that of the BeatsPill speaker that was discontinued in 2022. The new speaker will be equipped with a lanyard that the previous version did not have, and according to the leaked information of iOS 17.5, it will provide three colors: gold, red, and black. Other possible features include Bluetooth 5.3, the Find My Device function, and Type-C interface charging, which is in line with the functions that Apple has generally added to its product lines in recent years.
