Dongfeng Nano 01 to Add New Models and Undergo OTA Upgrade for Chengdu Auto Show

TapTechNews August 24th news, Dongfeng Motor announced on the 23rd that its pure electric mini car Nano 01 will add two new models, the 'Refresh Version' and the 'Co-Creation Version', and plans to officially go on the market during this year's Chengdu Auto Show.

According to the introduction, the Nano 01 'Refresh Version' will use a new 'Certain Silver' color, and the configuration will also be upgraded; the 'Co-Creation Version' will carry out a sporty upgrade on the appearance, adopting a number of detailed designs such as a black roof, wheel sport trim, and front grille sport trim, making it more sporty. In addition, Dongfeng will also launch more retrofit plans for Nano 01.

Dongfeng Motor also announced on the same day the OTA upgrade for Nano 01, adding a variety of commonly used apps such as Baidu Maps, Kuwo Music, Ximalaya Audio Books, and the 'Peachy' car theme.

The existing 9 configurations of Dongfeng Nano 01 are on sale, and the price range is $10,800 - $15,500. Its length, width and height are 158.7/71.3/61.8 inches respectively, and the wheelbase is 104.7 inches. The current model is equipped with a drive motor wit h a maximum power of 70 kilowatts and a peak torque of 160 Newton-meters, and a power battery with a cruising range of 330 kilometers and 430 kilometers under the CLTC condition.

The 27th Chengdu International Auto Show will be held from August 30th to September 8th, 2024 in 'China Western International Expo City' in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
