Huawei's Yu Chengdong Spotted at Honor Store, Responses and Background

TapTechNews August 21st news, Yu Chengdong, the Standing Director of Huawei and the Chairman of the Terminal BG, was recently photographed looking at mobile phones at the Honor store at the airport. Jiang Hairong, the CMO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. in the Chinese region, forwarded this blog post and responded 'Thanks for General Yu's concern'.

TapTechNews previously reported that Huawei Investment & Holding Co., Ltd. decided to sell the Honor business assets as a whole, and the acquirer is Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. After the delivery, Huawei does not hold any shares and does not participate in operation management and decision-making.

After Honor became independent, Ren Zhengfei, the founder of Huawei, spoke at the Honor farewell meeting, 'After Honor and Huawei divorce, don't have lingering connections, and the new Honor should be Huawei's strongest competitor'. Zhao Ming, the CEO of Honor, responded at the VPurse mobile phone launch event last September to the rumor of 'Honor returning to Huawei', saying that it is absolutely impossible.
