On August 23rd, the first comprehensive energy demonstration line on Hubei expressway - the Wuhan-Shiyan section of the Fuyin Expressway was completed. According to the relevant person in charge of Hubei Communications Investment Group, this demonstration line located on the Wuhan-Shiyan section of the Fuyin Expressway has a total length of more than 400 kilometers and a total of 10 pairs of service areas (parking areas), with 146 charging piles, 4 hydrogen and gas refueling stations, 5 battery swapping stations, 16 gas stations, and 7 liquid-cooled overcharge stations. Among them, the liquid-cooled overcharge station can achieve 1 second 1 kilometer extremely fast charging, and it only takes 5 minutes for a passenger car to swap the battery once at the battery swapping station.
TapTechNews learned that the cities along the Hubei Expressway Comprehensive Energy Demonstration Line include Wuhan, Xiaogan, Suizhou, Xiangyang, and Shiyan five administrative regions. At present, 7 super charging stations have been built in Xiaogan, Suizhou, Zhonggang, and Wudang Mountain, and each service area is equipped with 2 Huawei 600kW liquid-cooled overcharge piles and 10 250kW fast charging piles; the maximum power of the charging host reaches 720kW, and the maximum power of the terminal is 600kW.
