China Successfully launched the Tianhui-5 02 group of satellites using Long March 6G modified launch vehicle

TapTechNews July 5th news, CCTV news reported that at 6:49 today (July 5th, 2024), China used the Long March 6G modified launch vehicle at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch the Tianhui-5 02 group of satellites into space, and the satellites smoothly entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.

The Tianhui-5 02 group of satellites mainly carry out tasks such as geographical information mapping, land and resources census and scientific experiment research. The satellites and rockets are all developed by Shanghai Aerospace. TapTechNews attached the CCTV video as follows:

This mission uses a 4.2-meter diameter extended state satellite fairing. After entering the site, both the satellite and the rocket sides detailed and decomposed the satellite-rocket joint operation process, and repeatedly confirmed the work content and operation points to ensure the smooth process of the satellite-rocket joint operation.

This launch is the 6th launch of the Long March 6A launch vehicle, the 212th flight test of the Long March series rockets led by Shanghai Aerospace, and the 527th launch of China's Long March series launch vehicles.
